Re-developing the Victorian pier and world record holding train to create a community hub and tourist attraction.

Established in 2018, Hythe Pier Heritage Association (HPHA) aims to produce a self funding community facility and tourist attraction on a well maintained pier.

Our plans for redevelopment provide the necessary infrastructure and conditions for the historic ferry service to continue to operate. The development of the pier will create a community hub, benefiting the high street and village of Hythe.

With your help and support we can deliver the community project and make a difference.

About HPHA

We are a Charitable Community Benefit Society. Our objectives are to establish an organisation to secure the long-term future of the pier and its historic railway.

Through a series of projects we are preserving and restoring the pier, associated buildings, the unique pier railway and also ensuring that information about the heritage of the pier and train is readily available.
